Cyclone Code of Conduct

The following code applies to all players, parents, coaches and all other volunteers associated with the Columbia Cyclones.

1. No derogatory, offensive, or abusive language on the bench, in the rink, or at any team function.

2. No lashing out at any official no matter what the call is. The coaching staff will handle all matters pertaining to officiating.

3. Anyone who receives a penalty will skate directly to the penalty box.

4. Fighting will not be tolerated. Fighting will result in an appearance before a Discipline Committee.

5. You must follow the rules for the establishment regarding alcohol consumption. 100% tobacco-free (including but not limited to vapes, e-cigarettes, chewing tobacco, etc.) Products cannot be used on the bench, locker room, and/or penalty box at practices and/or games.NO use of illegal substance at any team function is permitted.

6. I will conduct myself in a befitting manner at all facilities (ice rink, hotel, restaurant, etc.) during all team functions.

7. Any player, team official, coach, parent, or Cyclone representative who cannot abide by these rules or violates them can be subject to further disciplinary action and/or removal from the association.
